Following the Supersport challengers latest qualifying stints, attentions turned towards who would take P1 in the battle for Sidecar pole position.
You could have made a case for multiple driver/passenger partnerships gaining this accolade, ultimately though nothing could stop FHO Racing’s Pete Founds/Jevan Walmsley.
Their fourth timed lap, saw the second fastest TT crew in history break the 100-mph mark, lapping at 100.731 mph.
A shade over 3 seconds in arrears to Founds/Walmsley were Tim Reeves/Kevin Rousseau (98.617) whilst third fastest was the vastly experience, TT winning pairing of John Holden/Dan Sayle (97.056).
Completing the six on the live timing leader board were Greg Lambert/Andrew Haynes, Conrad Harrison/Andy Winkle and Michael Russell/Liam Gordon.
Unfortunately, not long after Founds/Walmsley tumultuous feat, the session was red-flagged.
With the session not re-starting, Founds/Walmsley, Reeves/Rousseau, Holden/Sayle were the confirmed top three from second Sidecars qualifying.
